Price of oil 60p. per litre

It costs £650 to fill our St. Margaret’s tank, and £350 for St. Joseph's, and this is where the 100 Club is such a support to the parish.

Ishbel Campbell, Bohuntin, takes care of the Club, and over the years this has brought in over £14,000. Ishbel banks the money, keeps an exact record of all the income, and issues receipts to each subscriber.

I wish to thank everyone for their generous support, and especially Ishbel for running the Club so successfully.

Last year your subscriptions to the 100 Club came to £2,033.

From this £650 was paid out in monthly prizes.

The total remaining to help to pay our oil came to £1, 383

May God bless you for your generosity

May I ask our members if they would be kind enough to renew their subscription

as soon as it is convenient to them.

If you have not already joined our 100 Club, why not become a member this year and have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to keep our churches cosy and warm.

St. Finnan’s, Invergarry, has  electric fan heaters which are sufficient throughout the year, but struggle a little when the  weather is very cold.

The parishioners have decided that  an air source system would produce excellent heating at a low cost, and it could be left on for periods during the week to help

maintain the fabric of the church.  The equipment was kindly purchased by a

parishioner and installed by another, so the heating will now cater for all weathers!

Unfortunately, I have been unable to say Mass at St. Finnan’s since before Christmas because of my illness, and the parishioners have been so kind and helpful, and managed to go to Mass at Fort Augustus. However, I will be back to normal this Sunday and look forward to seeing them all again.
