Mission Sunday collection £420 Thank you for your generous response to the World Day Mission  Collection, which this year is directed towards the nuns in India who rescue children from the traffickers who use them for every type of evil abuse, including prostitution. The Sisters have already changed the lives of so many of the children they have rescued, and given them opportunities which they never believed possible. Some have gone to colleges for higher education to further their ideal in life, and others have made it to university. Our total for the Missions this year is well below previous years. If you were away last weekend, you may still wish to contribute to the World Mission Collection. I will hold the cheque back for another week to allow anyone who wishes to included by making a personal donation to this wonderful cause.
Weekly Offering Envelope: I have mentioned  several times in the  Bulletin how essential it is that everyone does their best to support the weekly offertory collection.  If you are often  absent at weekends, the parish misses out  considerably over a year on your offerings. Several parishioners have taken out a standing order to assure that they support the parish during their absence.
