Sadly, after a great legal  fight the land court held in Mallaig declared in favour of  Lord Brocket. This was particularly distressing, for the  Knoydart men had fought in the war and wished to have the security of  their crofts, whereas  Brocket was an alleged friend of Hitler and his  movement.   Bishop MacPherson, who came from South Uist, will always be remembered for his holiness, kindness and gentleness. May his good priestly soul rest in peace. Palm Sunday Confessions Fr Tom will hear confessions today at the following times:  Spean Bridge 3p.m.—3.30p.m Roy Bridge 4p.m.-4.30 p.m This is an opportunity to complete your Lenten devotions and prepare your soul to share in the Passion and Death of Our Lord, and rejoice with him on Easter Sunday. The sisters are highly skilled musicians, Helena on the violin and clarsach, and Francesca on the cello and oboe. I was present at the final competition, and as I listened to both sisters playing, it could well have been two adult professional musicians as they played so beautifully! Another highly skilled young violinist, who gave a wonderful recital, was Rhona MacIntosh, Roy Bridge, who is only 13 years of age, but her playing could have been that of a professional adult.  Roy Bridge has a great tradition of producing very talented young musicians.
