Charity registration No. SC002876
Sunday July 21st. 2013
Our sincere congratulations to Ross MacGregor and Dawn Cameron who were married at St. Mary's, Inverness on Friday, July 19th, by Fr Tom, on a most glorious day filled with sunshine. The bestman was Ryan Forbes and the bridesmaid Lee-Ann MacPhee, a sister of the bride. During the signing of the register, Ross’s sister, EiIeen Anne sang Ave Maria so beautifully. Guests came from many parts of Lochaber and the Inverness area, and we were all treated to a wonderful reception at the Glenmoriston Hotel on the banks of the river Ness. Because of the beautiful day, the first part of the reception took place in grounds surrounding the hotel on the banks of the river, and the wedding meal, so beautifully prepared, was in the hotel itself. The young couple hope in time that they may set up home near Achnabobane. Ross has just acquired a new job in the stockmarket, and Dawn is a a skilled beautician. We wish the young couple every happiness and God’s blessing in their new life together
Last Saturday, July 13, was a very happy day for Andrew and Sarah Begg when their son Rory Martin was baptised in St. Margaret's . They had a disappointment early on their marriage, and Sarah was seriously ill,  but, thank God she made a wonderful recovery and is now the mother of a beautiful baby boy. Sarah is the granddaughter of Dan and Margaret MacDonald, Blarmona, and they had the joy of seeing their great-grandson baptised in St. Margaret's. Andrew and Sarah hope to build their own home at Bohuntine in the near future, and it will be a great joy to have them and Rory Martin in the parish. Andrew works freelance as a camera man for BBC and STV, and his skill is always in demand. May God bless Rory Martin as we welcome him into the Church, the Body of Christ, and may his life be filled with health and happiness. He has already brought such joy to his parents and to his extended family.
