Anniversary
We remember James MacDonald, who died recently in
Leicestershire at the age of 89. He and his sister , Muriel, were
boarded out at Insh Wood, across from Chapel Brae.
He was a Staff Nurse for many years, and was married with one son,
Hamish, and had three grandchildren. Some of our parishioners will
remember James and Muriel.
Cathie Kennedy, whose anniversary is at this time, and for whom
mass will be said on Monday.

Sick
Sister Ishbel McPherson contacted me with the most recent news of Ella
Murray who is in hospital in Canada. She is making good progress after
her stroke and is now sitting up. There may be the possibility that she will
get home soon. However, Ella has a terminal illness, and the doctors will
do all they can to delay the final outcome and keep her comfortable.
We remember her and her husband, George, and her sons in our prayers
that God will give them his grace and strength, and assure them of his
presence at this difficult time.
