Bishop Toal will confirm twelve of our children on Saturday,
June 27th, at a Vigil Mass in St. Margaret’s at 6.30 p.m.
Unfortunately, the bishop is committed for the Sunday, but very
kindly offered to come on Saturday and confirm the children in St.
Margaret’s
There will be no Saturday Vigil Mass in St. Joseph’s on June 27th,
but the bishop will offer mass in St. Joseph’s on Sunday morning at
10 a.m. to allow our Spean Bridge parishioners to have their weekend
mass.
The parents of the children to be confirmed will receive a letter from
their catechist on Monday with all the details.
The hall has been booked so that we may all share a cup of tea and
cakes after mass, and have the opportunity of speaking to the bishop.
It is always a great joy to see our young children receive the
sacraments and advance in their faith.
I am grateful to the catechists who have given up each Monday
afternoon to teach the children, and also to the parents and friends
who have provided transport to take the children to school and then
collect them afterwards. In the mean time, let us keep the children in
our prayers that truly the grace of the Holy Spirit may enhance and
strengthen their faith and that of their families.
The children to be confirmed are:
Boys—Ben Campbell, Roddy MacDonald, Finlay MacDonald,
Sean Leider and Sandy Ross
Girls—Carla Berardelli, Janie Leigh MacDonald,
Dawn MacKintosh, Cahrie MacKinnon, Francesca Rose,
Kerri Sansome and Siobhan Toal
Meeting in St. Mary’s of all the children in Lochaber who will be

Bishop Joseph will be saying the Deanery mass for the clergy in St. Mary’s, For William on Friday, June 19th., and he invites the
families and children of all who will be confirmed or receive their First Hoy Communion this year to be present. Perhaps, parents
could start making arrangements already for transport to Fort William.
