obbie Innes Fraser was christened last Sunday in St.
Finnans’s Church, Invergarry—and it was such a
happy day for everyone, especially Robbie’s parents,
Donald and Maria.
Robbie has spent a large part of his young life in
hospital between Raigmore, and Yorkhill, Glasgow, but he is a
fighter and always made a great recovery. Fifty family and
friends gathered in the church for this special occasion, and it
was a great joy to see Robbie Innes baptised.
He has so often been in our prayers at all the weekend masses
over the past year, and we will continue to remember him that
he may keep fit and well and grow up into a fine young man,.
He is such a handsome child, and looked so well in his smart
new outfit which was bought specially for his christening.
Everyone met afterwards at the Caledonian Hotel, Fort
Augustus, where we were served a magnificent afternoon tea by
Chris and Joanna Stevenson and their family. The Invergarry
people are renowned for their kindness and hospitality, and this
was very evident last Sunday.
