Welcome to our new parishioners
Alison Wood and her two children, Stephanie and Skye, were baptised and received into the church last Tuesday evening, June 23rd.
The godparents were Alison’s brother, Neil, and her good friend Maureen McSherry. There was a lovely group of Alison’s parents and relations
and George’s friends at the ceremony
Alison came faithfully twice a week over a period of nearly three months to complete her instructions in the faith.
She was confirmed and received her first holy communion from the bishop on Saturday evening. She and George will be married in St. Margaret’s
on Saturday, July 4th.
Becky Sanson, who had been baptised previously, also completed a course of instructions and was confirmed with her daughter, Kerri, on
Saturday evening, and also received her first holy communion from the bishop.
We will keep them all very much in our prayers and they can be assured of a great and loving welcome from everyone. May they grow to have a
great love of the Eucharist and may they increase in their love of Our Lord and their devotion to Our Lady, the Mother of God.
