Roy Bridge children's success at local Mod
Congratulations to Sgoil Araich Braigh Lochabair, Roy Bridge, who won the pre-school action song at the Lochaber Mod a week last
Saturday.
They were tutored by their teachers Angela MacKay and Mary MacCormick.
The Gaelic school in Roy Bridge at is proving a great success, and the parents are delighted at the progress their children are making in the
Gaelic language with their teachers.
Despite difficulties in obtaining a supply of Gaelic teachers, Councillor Michael Foxley stated in the Oban Times that more than 100 pupils in
seven classes across Lochaber are being taught through Gaelic primary and secondary school level.
