Wedding belles—Andrew Begg and Sarah Sandison.
Congratulations… to Andrew Begg and Sarah Sandison who were married in St. Margaret’s last Saturday, April 18th. The best man was
Daniel Carr and the chief bridesmaid, Victoria Mohieddeen, who came all the way from Beijing, China, to be bridesmaid for her close friend,
Sarah. Sarah’s mother is Fiona Sandison, daughter of Dan and Margaret MacDonald, Blarmona.
The young couple were blessed with a glorious day for their wedding, and the reception in Roy Bridge Memorial Hall was a great success. The
catering was supplied by the College at An Aird, where Sarah works, and the large variety of sweets was provided by the family. The beautiful
wedding cake was made by the bride’s grandmother, Margaret MacDonald.
Andrew and Sarah intend to build their home at Bohuntin, where they have secured a plot, and live in the parish. Andrew is a television and film
cameraman, and Sarah is a graduate and educational consultant. Unfortunately, they have to return to Edinburgh as Sarah will be made
redundant in May, but we hope they will be able return to Roy Bridge in the near future. We wish them every blessing and happiness in their
new life together.
