Church rota for the weekend Sept. 27th.-Sept. 28th.

Church Tower
Despite a very careful examination of the tower, there is no obvious sign of where the  problem lies.
A special dye has been painted on to areas of the granite, sandstone, slates and lead, but this requires heavy rain to allow the dye to show where the ingress of water is. However, since the dye was applied, there has been no really heavy rain.  A very high pressure hose will be used and this might help to make the dye run and show up the areas where the leaks occurs.  Lochaber has been so fortunate in avoiding the heavy rain that has fallen on many parts of the country. We hope the pressure hose will do the job, and that our good weather, with the occasional showers, will still continue.
Weekday Mass
There will be no mass on Monday as I have an  appointment in Perth to have my eyes tested for new glasses.  I get the 10.15 a.m. train at Kingussie, arrive in Perth before noon, and if everything goes smoothly, I can catch the 1.30 a.m. train and be back in Roy Bridge by 3 p.m. All so easy!
