The coach leaves Roy Bridge 4.15 p.m. calling at Spean Bridge,
arriving Oban in good time, approx 6 p.m.
We expect a large number from the parish to attend this historic ceremony.
Please put your name on the list at the back of the church this weekend
Alistair MacIntyre wants to know as soon as possible the numbers intending to travel to Oban as we may require two coaches. One has already been booked.
The Cathedral will be packed to capacity with people from the Isles and from all over the diocese. It is essential that we are in Oban early to make sure of obtaining seats for everyone. I look forward to a
strong representation from this parish - young. old and families —for it will be a truly historic occasion for Roy Bridge. Don’t miss it, for you will talk about it for years to come!
The ceremony will last approx. one hour and a half, and there will be tea available in the Cathedral hall afterwards. The Coach will leave shortly after 9 p.m. and we should be home approx. 11. p.m.
People travelling by car will have great difficulty finding a parking space, and may have to walk a considerable distance to the Cathedral. The coach will drop us off and collect us at the Cathedral.
I ask everyone to keep our Bishop-Elect, Monsignor Toal, in their prayers as he prepares for his Episcopal ordination.
