Sunday March 9th.

St. Margaret’s, St. Joseph’s & St. Finnan’s
Weekly Bulletin

Have you remembered to renew your 100 Club subscription?

There are still a large number of subscriptions to be renewed to help us reach our annual target of £1,700.

At the moment, there is approx. £1,200 in the 100 Club  account, so we need another £500 to ensure that the Club can keep up its wonderful tradition of heating our churches throughout the winter months.

The price of oil has now gone through the roof, and we need more members to help the 100 Club fulfil its role. Our subscription is still £13 per member, and rather than ask more from our loyal supporters, we are asking for an increase in membership.

I am sure we have the warmest churches in the diocese, and we want to keep it that way if it is at all possible!

Ishbel Campbell looks forward to receiving your subscription. Cheques should be made out to St. Margaret’s 100 Club, and can be sent, or handed, to Ishbel, or placed in the collection baskets at the weekend masses.
E-mail letter
I had a lovely e-mail from Ella and George Murray, Alberta, Canada, in reply to my letter thanking them for their subscription to the 100 Club

“Dear Fr Tom.
Many thanks for your  letter - happy to hear that all is well in Roy Bridge - it always was a peaceful village - rural life can be so rewarding.
IF !!!   we are one of the winners in the 100 Club, please put the £50  back into the heating fund - a little prayer for us will suffice !!
We read the bulletin each Saturday - the web pages  are very well done.
We wish you all a very happy Easter - it will be a busy time for you .
Best wishes for health and happiness.
Sincerely,
Ella and George Murray
.”
I am most grateful to Ella and George for all their support. It would certainly have the approval of Ella’s mother, Chrissie, who was such a great fund-raiser for the church in Spean Bridge.
