Burns Supper

The tickets for the Burns Supper have been a complete sell out. Your only hope of
obtaining one now is to try e-
Because of Health and Safety regulations, the Hall Committee has to restrict the
numbers to 150—this includes members of those running a function, and also artists
etc. We could have sold another 30-
Entry to the Burns Supper will be ticket only.
We have a super ceilidh arranged for the evening. The artists taking part in the ceilidh are:
- Thomas MacDonald (piper),
- the Lochaber Strathspey and Reel Society,
Claire Wynne, (vocalist who accompanies herself on the guitar),
- young Natalie Laing, (highland dancing),
- Deirdre MacDonald, (violin),
Christ Josey (Australian vocalist, well-known tenor in Lochaber, who works with the primary schools children over a large area) ,
Fr Peter Wilkinson (piper), a parish priest from Lancashire who has supplied a number of times in the parish.
Fr Peter is a close friend of Peter and Hazel Rose, as he and Peter went to school together. He also a very enthusiastic member of the Blackburn pipe band, and is an excellent piper) - and Ian Joseph, selections on the accordion.
Preparation of the Hall
The hall will be prepared on Friday evening, and anyone wishing to offer help should meet at the hall about 7 p.m.
Grand Raffle
The committee will be very grateful for any items received for the raffle. Gifts can be handed in beforehand at the Chapel House, or given to any of the committee members, or brought to hall on Friday evening on the night of the Burns Supper.
Our Raffle is always one of the high points of the evening because of the wonderful selection of gifts donated by our parishioners and friends.
Tickets for the raffle can be obtained during the Burns Supper.
The draw will take place before the beginning of the ceilidh
