Ruairidh Ian Campbell with his parents, Charles and Caroline Campbell, after his baptism in St. Margaret’s last Sunday., November 30, St. Andrew’s Day. He looked very smart in his Campbell tartan kilt!
His godparents were his aunt, Louise, and her husband Andrew. Caroline’s parents travelled up from Derby for the occasion, so Ruairidh Ian was privileged by having both sets of grandparents present, who signed his forehead with the sign of the cross as part of the baptismal service.
His baptism was rather unique for his grandfather, Ian, who plays the organ at mass in St. Joseph’s, played the organ for the hymns at the beginning and at the end of the service.
We wish Ruairidh Ian every blessing and happiness throughout his life. He has already brought great joy to all his family, relations and many friends.
