Anniversaries

We remember in our prayers Pat Toal, whose anniversary is this Sunday, April 27th, and for whom the 11.30 a.m. mass will be said.
Joe Campbell for whom mass will be said on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s, and
John MacInnes, Achluachrach, for whom mass the Vigil Mass will be said on Saturday evening.

Our first Mass of the year at Cille Choirill will be in a fortnight’s time on Pentecost Sunday at 3 p.m.
I would be grateful if you would let your relations and friends who live at a distance know about the mass in plenty of time. It is a lovely feast on which to celebrate mass at Cille Choirill. There will probably be a large attendance.     

I have asked Mgr MacKinnon and Fr Johnstone to let their parishioners know.
Home from Hospital

It is great to see Tom MacKintosh out and about in the village, and striding along the road.
Tom came home on Thursday, and has made a wonderful recovery. He has just a little way to go yet so we will continue to remember him in our prayers.

Confirmation

Five of our young children are making excellent progress with Margaret Sargent in their preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation. They have a class each Monday after school for 40 minutes, and are very enthusiastic  pupils. I hope to arrange a date for the bishop to come to the parish early in June, and the parents will be notified in good time.
