Six-months old Robbie Fraser, just wakened up to greet me!
I called at South Laggan during the week to meet baby Robbie Fraser. It was such a joy to see him home for the first time since he was born prematurely six months ago. He was fast asleep when I arrived, but before I left, he woke up, and although he was still a little sleepy, I managed to get a photograph of him with his eyes open. He is such a lovely baby, and  is making great progress. He has still a little way to go yet, so we will continue to remember him at mass. His parents, Donald and Maria, are grateful for all the prayers that have been said for him over the months.
They travelled to Inverness every day after he was born to be with him until he grew strong enough to have his operation at Yorkhill Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. They then stayed for nine weeks in the Ronald MacDonald Home, attached to Yorkhill, until Robbie had fully recovered and was returned to Raigmore for further observation. And now, after all this time, and all the miles they travelled, they have Robbie happily and safely back home, and well on the way to a complete recovery.  May God bless him and the angels protect him. Maria was post woman in our area for a while, so many will remember her. Donald is a brother of Alistair Fraser, the Invergarry contractor.
Toddlers’ Group Daffodil Tea makes £372

Congratulations to the mothers who worked so hard to make such a success of the fund-raising morning in Spean hall last Saturday for the Toddlers’ group. It was so good of them to donate £150 from the  proceeds to Yorkhill Royal Hospital for Sick Children. God bless them!
